     William Johnson was born on 11 February 1878. He married Amy Greathead, daughter of Isaac Greathead and Priscilla Bradley, on 3 August 1915 in St Mary, Aston Brook, Warwickshire, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by William Josiah Clarke and Mary Agnes Reynolds. William was a soldier.1,2,3 He witnessed the marriage of Harold Edwards and Rose Greathead on 26 December 1924 in St Mary, Aston Brook, Warwickshire, England.4,3 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register William was listed as living at 43 Pugh Road, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England with his wife Amy. William was a general labourer living with his wife and children.5

     Uncle Thomas is mentioned in the will of Sarah Greathed.2 Thomas Greathead was baptised on 3 June 1727 in Saint Mary Magdalene, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.3 He was the son of Edward Greathed and Elizabeth Heneage.1 He died on 30 January 1811 in Riga, Latvia, aged 83 Thomas was a merchant at Riga and died there. He was a legatee of the will of his father in 1742/3.1,4
