     Edward Greathead was born about 1584/85 in Lincolnshire, England.1 Edward received his Matric from Jesus College about 1593, BA in 1597 and MA in 1601. He was ordained Deacon in Colchester on 13 August 1600, Priest in Ely on 8 February 1606. He was Rector of South Willingham Lincolnshire 1610 and was instituted on 24 July 1610.3,2,4 He died in 1662.3 He was buried on 7 January 1662 in South Willingham, Lincolnshire, England.3,4

     Edward Greathead was born about 1652 in Stow in Lindsay, Lincolnshire, England.1 He was the son of Thomas Greathead and Anne Farre. He was baptized on 11 November 1652 in Stow in Lindsay, Lincolnshire, England.3 Edward entered Sy John's College, Cambridge on 22 November 1671. His father had died by then. He passed his Matric in 1671, BA in 1675-6 and MA in 1680. He was the Vicar of Sibsey, Lincolnshire.4 He died before 1687.4 The will of Edward was proved on 21 October 1687 but I do not have a copy as yet.4
