     Edward Greathead was baptized on 4 July 1614 in South Willingham, Lincolnshire, England.2 He was the son of Edward Greathead.1 Edward was admitted into Sidney College 2 April 1631. He received his BA in 1634, MA in 1638 and was ordained Deacon of Peterborough 20 May 1638, Priest on 9 June 1639.3,4,5,6 Rev Edward Greated was dispossed of his living around 1649 of Bridgenorth by Captain Coote, of Cromwell's Horse, who enjoyed the living and performed the duties until the Restoration of King Charles II in 1660. He was Rector of Bridgeford, Nottinghamshire 1662-73.6 He died in 1673 in Uxbridge, London, England.3,7,5
