     Mary Ray was born about 1867 in Enfield, Middlesex, England.1 She was the daughter of William Edward Ray.2 She married Percy Lemaitre Booth, son of Charles Henry Booth and Amelia Sophia Lemaitre, on 13 September 1890 in St Peter, Clerkenwell, London, England, after the banns had been read. Percy was an engraver living at 39 Myddleton Street and Mary lived at 22 Clerkenwell Green. The ceremony was witnessed by Edwin Booth, Helene Booth and Emily Ray.1,3,4 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 59 Arundel Square, Islington, London, England, she was listed as the wife of Percy Lemaitre Booth.5 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 19 Melgund Road, Islington, London, England, she was listed as the wife of Percy Lemaitre Booth.6 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 97 Tabley Road, Tuffnell Park, London, England, she was listed as the wife of Percy Lemaitre Booth.7 Her husband Percy died on 25 September 1925 in 6 Biddlestone Road, Holloway, London, England.8,9 The will of Percy was proved by Mary Ray his widow on 9 October 1925 in London. His effects were valued at £557 7s 8.8

     Helen Mary Lemaitre Booth was born on 27 March 1891 in Islington, London, England.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Percy Lemaitre Booth and Mary Ray.1 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 59 Arundel Square, Islington, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of Percy Lemaitre Booth.4 She was baptised on 22 July 1894 in St Mary, Islington, London, England, with her sister Constance Elizabeth.3 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 19 Melgund Road, Islington, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of Percy Lemaitre Booth.5 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 97 Tabley Road, Tuffnell Park, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of Percy Lemaitre Booth Helen was a typist.6

     Frederick Lennox Booth was born on 15 October 1899 in Islington, London, England.1,2,3 He was the son of Percy Lemaitre Booth and Mary Ray.1 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 19 Melgund Road, Islington, London, England, he was listed as the son of Percy Lemaitre Booth.4 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 97 Tabley Road, Tuffnell Park, London, England, he was listed as the son of Percy Lemaitre Booth he was at school.5 He married Jessie Law in 1923 in Islington, London, England.6 Frederick died in September 1970 in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England, aged 70.7

     Reginald Percy Booth was born in 1896 in Islington, London, England.1,2 He was the son of Percy Lemaitre Booth and Mary Ray.1 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 19 Melgund Road, Islington, London, England, he was listed as the son of Percy Lemaitre Booth.3 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 97 Tabley Road, Tuffnell Park, London, England, he was listed as the son of Percy Lemaitre Booth he was at school.4 He married Violet Florence Mundy in 1916 in Islington, London, England.5 His wife Violet died on 6 September 1950 in 42 Great North Road, London, England.6,7 He married Constance Sarah Elizabeth Nicholls in 1952 in Pancras, London, England.8 Reginald died on 21 June 1953 in 65 Torriano Avenue, Kentish Town, London, England.7 The will of Reginald was proved on 11 July 1953 in London to his widow Constance, his effects were valued at £722 1s 2d.7

     Charles Basil Wake was born about 1830 in Islington, London, England.1 He was the son of Charles Thompson Wake and Mary ...1 In the census of 30 March 1851 at 26 Edward Terrace, Islington, London, England, he was listed as the son of Charles Thompson Wake.2 He married Elizabeth Sarah Beddows in 1853 in Clerkenwell, London, England.3 Charles was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 7 April 1861 in 67 St James Road, Islington, London, England, Charles was a commercial traveller.4 Charles was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in 74 St James Road, Islington, London, England, Charles was a commercial clerk. The family had taken in a boarder Eliza Child aged 71 a widow and annuitant who was born in Islington. Interestingly Charles's wife was described as being born in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.5 Charles was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in 204 St James Road, Islington, London, England, Charles was a commercial clerk.6 Charles died in 1885 in Islington, London, England.7
