     Jean Turmaine was born in 1720 in Picardie, France.1,2 He was the son of Guillaume Turmaine and Marianne ...1 He was baptised about 1725 in Canterbury, Kent, England.3 He married Catherine Becre, daughter of Pierre Becre and Marie Claro, on 23 January 1743 in Malthouse Church (Huguenot), Canterbury, Kent, England.4 The baptism record for Suzanne Turmaine reads "Suzanne, daughter of John Turmaine and Catherine Bequiere or Bequire, his wife has been baptised, having for Godfather Nor Turmaine and Godmother Susanne Dermancours, was born 8 March 1754."5 His wife Catherine died on 1773 in Canterbury, Kent, England.6 He married Ann Gibbs on 13 April 1774 in Holy Cross, Westgate, Canterbury, Kent, England, Both Ann and Jean were widowed at the time of their marriage. There were no children from their marriage.1 His wife Ann died on 1778.7 He married Phebe Frend on 28 December 1778 in St Alphege, Canterbury, Kent, England, There were no children from this marriage. There is some thouht Phebe's name may be Cull.8,1 Jean died on 20 August 1797 in Canterbury, Kent, England.1,9 Jean was buried on 20 August 1797 in Holy Cross, Northgate, Canterbury, Kent, England.5

     Arthur Robert Turmaine was born on 14 February 1912 in Willesden, London, England.1 He was the son of George John Turmaine and Alice Sarah Mary Burgess.1 He married Eleanor Louise Adlington, daughter of Albert Adlington and Eleanor Mills, in 1936 in Willesden, London, England.1 His wife Eleanor died on 3 September 1990 in Brent, London, England, aged 78 Eleanor died from myocardial infarction.1,2 He died on 5 January 1991 in Brent, London, England, aged 78 Arthur died from bronchopneumonia and was a retired printers warehouseman.1,3

     Elizabeth Sophia Million was born in 1896 in South Moor, Durham, England.2,3,4 She was the daughter of George Million and Eliza A ...3 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 99 Pine Street, Stanley, Durham, England, she was listed as the daughter of George Million.5 She married George E Greathead, son of William Thomas Greathead and Mary Isabella Anderson, in 1917 in Lanchester, Durham, England.1,6 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Elizabeth was listed as living at 45 Baysland Flats, Morpeth, Northumberland, England, and living alone. Her husband was also alone but mysteryously the household is called Fierney in Border.7 Elizabeth died in 1965 in Northumberland, England.1,8
