     Joseph Parker was born about 1808 in Blean, Kent, England.1 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Rough Common, Harbledown, Kent, England, he was listed as the lodger of Mary Ann Turmine he was an agricultural labourer.2 Joseph was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 7 April 1861 in Rough Common, Harbledown, Kent, England, Joseph was unmarried and had Mary Ann Turmaine as housekeeper and her two sons boarding with him. He was employed as a woodman.3 He married Mary Ann Tritton.1

     Jane Godfrey was born in 1779.2 She married John Turmaine, son of William Turmaine and Mary Cooper, on 17 October 1799 in St Peter's, Canterbury, Kent, England, John was described as a bricklayer. There are no known children from this marriage.1,2 In the census of 6 June 1841 in The Strand, Walmer, Kent, England, she was listed as the wife of John Turmaine.3 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Back Road, Walmer, Kent, England, she was listed as the wife of John Turmaine.1,4 Her husband John died on 1852 in Walmer, Kent, England.2 Jane died in 1857 in Canterbury, Kent, England.5,6

     Jane Watkins was born about 1823.2 She married Henry Turmaine, son of Charles Turmaine and Alicia Stone.1 An unknown person was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at Homer Street, Marylebone, London, England, Henry was a bricklayer living with his wife and children.3 Her husband Henry died on 1853.4 She died on 4 August 1865 in Kensington, London, England, She died from chronic bronchitis and debility.4,5

He was employed as a dairyman.6 Charles was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in 5 Conduit Mews, Paddington, London, England, Charles was working as an auxiliary letter carrier, his wife Frances was a charwoman.7 Charles died in 1882 in West Ham, London, England.8,3
