The ceremony was witnessed by Thomas Durrant and Ellen Greathead. William was a stri caster and a widower living at 3/4 Buckingham Street and Georgina lived at 52 South Street. The ceremony was witnessed by Albert Greathead and Florence Greathead who were two of William's siblings.14 William was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in 26 Court, 2 Brearley Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, William was a brass stripe caster.15 William was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in Court 11 No 6 Hospital Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, William was a caster at the brass foundry living with his wife, three daughters and grandson in their three roomed home. The register suggests that William and Georgina had lost three of their six children before 1911, however it also states William and Georgina had been married for 24 years. That was not the case. They married in 1900, so I believe William was referring to his previous marriage to Lavinia which was in 1888 about 24 years before.16 He died in 1921 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.17
