     Elizabeth Calvin was born about 1760.3 She married Thomas Ridsdale, son of James Ridsdale and Elizabeth Robinson, in 1794 in Catterick, Yorkshire, England.2 Her husband Thomas died on 1835.2 Elizabeth was listed as the head of the family on the census of 6 June 1841 in Catterick, Yorkshire, England, Elizabeth was of independant means.4 Elizabeth died in 1842 in Richmond, Yorkshire, England.2,5 Elizabeth was buried on 21 August 1842 in St Anne, Catterick, Yorkshire, England.2,3

In the census of 6 June 1841 in Catterick, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of Elizabeth Ridsdale.2 Ann died in 1855 in Richmond, Yorkshire, England.3,4 Ann was buried on 4 June 1855 in St Anne, Catterick, Yorkshire, England.5

In the census of 19 June 1921 in 52 Harvey Road, Smethwick, Worcestershire, England, he was listed as the son of Arthur William Greathead.4 He married Lilian Florence Garner in 1934 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.5 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Cyril was listed as living at 20 Yew Tree Lane, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, with his wife Lilian. Cyril was a greengrocer dealer.3 Cyril died in 1953 in 116 Rectory Park Road, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.6,7 Cyril was buried in January 1953 in Yardley Cemetery, Yardley Road, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.8 Cyril did not leave a will. In the census of 2 April 1911 in Mill Lane, Solihull, Warwickshire, England, he was listed as the son of Frederick Thomas Greathead.5 In the census of 19 June 1921 in 101 Wharfdale Road, Smethwick, Worcestershire, England, he was listed as the son of Frederick Thomas Greathead.6 He married Hilda Beatrice Gunn in 1931 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.7 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Frederick was listed as living at 30 Kennington Road, Luton, Bedfordshire, England, with his wife Hilda. And their son David. Frederick was a universal grinder.4 Hilda was sadly afflicted with arthritis and was eventually bed ridden and virtually paralysed. In the census of 2 April 1911 in 5 Limpsfield Road, Brightside, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of William Sleddon.3 She married Cyril Greathead, son of George Edwin Greathead and Edith Woolley, on 26 February 1927 in The Register Office, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, By certificate Cyril age 21 to Alice age 20 witnessed by William Sleddon and Emily Meredith
Alice lived at 41 Limpsfieth Road, Sheffield, Yorkshire.4 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Alice was listed as living at 35 Westnall Terrace, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, with her husband Cyril. And their daughter Irene. Cyril was a railway shunter.5 Alice died in 1959 in Wortley, Yorkshire, England.6

     Arthur Roberts was born on 13 May 1899.2 He married Gladys Lilian Greathead, daughter of Arthur William Greathead and Ada Elizabeth Evetts, on 25 October 1924 in St Edburgha, Yardley, Warwickshire, England, after the banns had been read on 5, 12 and 19 October. The ceremony was witnessed by A W Greathead and D E Greathead. Arthur was a wine cleaner, Gladys was a pawnbroker's assistant.3,2 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Arthur was listed as living at 8 Keats grove, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, with his wife Gladys. Arthur was a wire cleaner and an ARP Warden.4

     Sarah Dowson was born on 14 November 1873.2,3 She married Arthur John Moore in 1896 in Darlington, Durham, England.1,4 Her husband Arthur died on 1908 in Darlington, Durham, England, Arthur sadly hanged himself.1,5 She married Robert Greathead, son of John George Greathead and Margaret Anne Moore, in 1909 in Darlington, Durham, England, Robert and Sarah met on a railway station.6,7,8 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 7 Leymour Street, Bishop Auckland, Durham, England, she was listed as the wife of Robert Greathead.9 In the census of 19 June 1921 in Nags Head House, Rainton Gate, West Rainton, Durham, England, she was listed as the wife of Robert Greathead.10 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Sarah was listed as living at 5 St Andrews Place, Bradford, Yorkshire, England, with her husband Robert. And their children Leonard and Ruby. Robert was and cart and wheel wright.11 Sarah died in 1952 in Bradford, Yorkshire, England.12

In the census of 31 March 1901 in 15 Beech Street, Benwell, Northumberland, England, she was listed as the daughter of Robert Potts.2 She married Ralph Greathead by certificate, son of John Greathead and Isabella Freeman, on 13 January 1926 in Sunderland, Durham, England, The marriage was witnesssed by R H Kennedy and FI Urner.
