Blanche Edith Webster was born on 10 June 1904.2 She married Thomas H Faulkner, son of George Faulkner and Ellen Greathead, in 1924 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.1,3 Blanche started working at a Birmingham factory in 1946. Smith and Nephew in Alum Rock Road invited many people including Blanche as the oldest surviving employee to help celebrate their 100th year manufacturing in Alum Rock. The company was originally known as Southalls until it changed its name in 1985 and produces healthcare products.1
Blanche died in December 2002 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, aged 98.4

Henry Watts was born on 26 March 1888 in 2 Ashted Place, Francis Street, Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.1,2 He was the son of James Watts and Lucy Ashford.1 He married Lily May Faulkner, daughter of George Faulkner and Ellen Greathead, on 25 December 1912 in St Saviour's, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, after the banns had been read. Henry, a machinist gave his address as 28 Couchman Road, Lily's address was 44 Hartopp Road. The ceremony was witnessed by John Brown and Selina Ada Faulkner.3 Henry enlisted under the name of Harry Watts into the Royal Warwickshire Regiment in 1915.1 He was killed on 2 April 1917 on the Somme in France aged 29.4,1 Henry was buried in Cerisy-Gailly Military Cemetary, Somme, Picardy, France.1
