     Nora Basford was born on 18 February 1913. She married George William Greathead, son of William Constantine Greathead and Edith Olive Ovendon, in 1933 in Stockton on Tees, Durham, England.2 She died on 3 January 1974 in 80 Camden Street, Stockton on Tees, Durham, England, aged 60.3,4 She did not leave a will. Administration papers were issued on 2 October 1974 in Newcastle upon Tyne. Her effects were valued at £2,900.4
