     Louise Ellen Greathead was born on 14 April 1897 in 31 Grant Mount, Leeds, Yorkshire, England.2,3 She was the daughter of Harry Greathead and Eliza Appleyard. She was baptised on 20 June 1897 in St Clement, Sheepscar, Leeds, Yorkshire, England, Louise's father was described as a joiner living at 31 Grant Mount.4 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 11 Sturdy Street, Hunslet, Leeds, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as a grandaughter living with her grandmother Elizabeth Gale a widow aged 51 who was born in Kippax, Yorkshire and her daughter Louisa Appleyard who was single, aged 19 tailoress and also born in Kippax.5 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 28 Darfield Crescent, Leeds, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of Harry Greathead Louise was a tailoress in a clothing factory.6 In the census of 2 April 1911 in Whinholme, Elmet Avenue, Roundhay, Leeds, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the servant of Sarah Walton and her family. Her duties were as a domestic servant which she shared with another servant, Mary Norton. The house consisted of nine rooms.7 Eliza sailed from Liverpool on 10 October 1912 with Louise who was listed as a domestic and little Irene aged 10 months. They sailed to Melbourne Australia aboard SS Belgic. Eliza's husband had gone out early that year in February.8 She married Stewart Brooks Ellis in 1917 in Marrickville, New South Wales, Australia.9 Louise died on 20 December 1960 in New South Wales, Australia, aged 63.10 Louise was buried in Enfield Anglican Cemetery, Enfield, New South Wales, Australia.10

     Thirza Maria Littley was born in 1880 in Spennymoor, Sedgefield, Durham, England.2,3 She was the daughter of Thomas Littley and Sarah Edwards. In the census of 3 April 1881 in 12 Iron Works Row, Tudhoe, Durham, England, she was listed as the daughter of Thomas Littley.4 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 12 Bessemer Terrace, Tudhoe, Durham, England, she was listed as the daughter of Thomas Littley Thirza was a scholar.5 She married George William Greathead, son of John Greathead and Ann Smith, on 24 December 1900 in St Andrews, Tudhoe Grange, Durham, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Robert Dowson and Mary Bell. George was a chargeman and his father was recorded as William Greathead deceased. I am concerned as I thought it was John. Thirza 's father Thomas Littley was a labourer. Both gave their address as Marmaduke Street. Mary Bell was on 1901 living at 10 Marmadule Street with her widowed father John. Robert Dowson was boarding with Thirza's parents in 1901 at 14 Marmaduke Street.6 In the census of 31 March 1901 in South Terrace, Tudhoe, Durham, England, she was listed as the wife of George William Greathead.7 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 125 Craddock Street, Spennymoor, Durham, England, she was listed as the wife of George William Greathead.8 In the census of 19 June 1921 in 125 Craddock Street, Spennymoor, Durham, England, she was listed as the wife of George William Greathead.9 Thirza died in 1936 in Auckland, Durham, England.10

In the census of 2 April 1871 in Porthywaen Road, Llanyblodwel, Shropshire, England, he was listed as the son of Richard Tunley.3 In the census of 3 April 1881 in Porthywaen, Llanyblodwel, Shropshire, England, he was listed as the son of Richard Tunley he was a scholar.4 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Chester Road, Ellesmere Port, Whitby, Cheshire, England, he was listed as the son of Laurie Jane Tunley John, Richard and Alfred were general labourers.5 Harry Tunley Falconer referred to him as Jack. Jack had the family shop in Lostock Gralam, when he died Richard inherited it. He later sold it and moved to Prestatyn. When Richard and Jessie died their estate went to the Methodist Church.2 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 36 Rowmain Street, Northwich, Cheshire, England, he was listed as the son of Laurie Jane Tunley John was a clerk in the Chemical works.6 His brother Richard died on 2 March 1902 aged 33.7 He married ... ...8 John died in 1950 in Lostock Gralam, Cheshire, England.2 He was buried in Manchester Road Methodist Church, Lostock Gralam, Cheshire, England, Rev F Cope officiated and his funeral was reported in the local paper.2
