She married George Greathead, son of Thomas Greathead and Eliza Alton, on 28 December 1929 in St Paul's Church, Drag Hill, Langdale, Durham, England, Witnessed by Margaret Greathead and James Ringer. Maude lived at Trimden Foundry.2 She died in 1989 in Durham, England.3

Her effects were described as not exceeding £25,000.4

     Elizabeth Moore was born about 1811.2 She was the daughter of George Moore. She married Robert Greathead, son of John Greathead and Jane Fishburn, on 27 November 1837 in The Independent Chapel - Congregational, Staindrop, Teesdale, Durham, England, The marriage was witnessed by George Moore and George Greathead. Robert was a farmers servant, in Melsonby and he signed the certificate with an X. Elizabeth was a dressmaker in Staindrop.1,3,4 In the census of 7 June 1841 in Church Street, Kelloe, Durham, England, she was listed as the wife of Robert Greathead.2,5
