In the census of 5 April 1891 in 13 Elder Street, Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the son of Matthew Lamb.3 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 11 Dock Street, Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the son of Georgina Grace Lamb.4 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 11 Dock Street, Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the son of Georgina Grace Lamb Wallace was a general labourer.5 He married Edith Foster in 1915 in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England.6 William died on 2 July 1927 in The Langbaurgh Hotel, North Ormsby, Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England, I do not know why his death was not registered until 1928.7,8 His estate was probated on 4 February 1928 Administration papers were issued to Edith Lamb his widow in London. His effects were valued at £39 5s 8d.8
