She married Thomas Greathead, son of Thomas Greathead and Rebeccah Sidgwick, on 9 June 1795 in Hudswell, Yorkshire, England, I believe Ruth was the widow of Chapel Town, Leeds.1,2 In the census of 7 June 1841 in Marske, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the wife of Thomas Greathead.3 She died on 24 November 1847 in Marske, Yorkshire, England, aged 77.4,2,5 She was buried in St Edmunds, Marske, Yorkshire, England, Their headstone stated their daughter Ruth is buried with them and their son Francis is interred at Bellerby.2

     Peter Whitelock was born on 29 May 1738 in Downholme, Yorkshire, England.2 He was the son of Christopher Whitelock and Catherine Ellerton.2 He married Sarah Whitelock, daughter of Matthew Whitelock and Ruth Ellerton, on 6 April 1767 in Hipswell, Yorkshire, England.1 He was buried on 29 January 1778 in St Michael and All Angels, Downholme, Yorkshire, England, The table tomb states that Peter and Sarah were buried together with their daughter Sarah.3,2 He died on 29 January 1778 in Thorpe House, Downholme, Yorkshire, England, aged 39.2
