The ceremony was witnessed by Thomas Pefs and Stephen Stangroome.1,5,6 By 1794 Thomas and Martha had moved to Isle of Sheppy.7 Her husband Thomas died on about 1798.8 She died in December 1818 in Minster, Sheppey, Sheerness, Kent, England.8 She was buried on 19 December 1818 in S.S. Mary and Sexburga, Minster, Kent, England.8

She married Thomas Greathead, son of Thomas Greathead and Rebeccah Sidgwick, on 9 June 1795 in Hudswell, Yorkshire, England, I believe Ruth was the widow of Chapel Town, Leeds.1,2 In the census of 6 June 1841 in Marske, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the wife of Thomas Greathead.3 She died on 24 November 1847 in Marske, Yorkshire, England, aged 77.4,2,5 She was buried in St Edmunds, Marske, Yorkshire, England, the gravestone read: In memory of Ruth w/o Thomas Greathead of Marske who d 24 Nov 1847 aged 77 yrs. Thomas Greathead d. 19 Oct 1850 aged 82 yrs. Francis their son b 6 May 1809 interred at Bellerby 2 Apr 1880 aged 72 yrs. Ruth their dau d. 24 Nov 1885 aged 81 yrs.2,6

He married Gladys M Arnold in 1938 in St Michael and all Angels, Bussage, Stroud, Gloucestershire, England.2,3 He died in 1978 in Stroud, Gloucestershire, England.4

     Ann Bradley was born about 1826 in Lancashire, England.1 She was the daughter of David Bradley and Ann Haslam.1 In the census of 6 June 1841 in 7 Evans Street, Manchester, Lancashire, England, she was listed as the sister of Richard Greathead Ann was a cotton weaver and living with her brother, mother and sister.2
