He married Elizabeth Yarker, daughter of Michael Yarker and Eleanor Fidler, on 10 May 1830 in Leyburn, Richmond, Yorkshire, England.3,1,2 Peter was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 June 1841 in Stutton Filpot, Marske, Yorkshire, England, Peter was a farmer.5 Peter was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at Telfit, Marske, Yorkshire, England, Peter was a farmer with 240 acres of land.6 He died in 1857 in Richmond, Yorkshire, England.7,1 He was buried in Marske, Yorkshire, England, with their spouse and two sons Peter and Thomas both aged two.8

     Elizabeth Yarker was born about 1801.4 She was the daughter of Michael Yarker and Eleanor Fidler. She married Peter Whitelock Greathead, son of Thomas Greathead and Ruth Whitelock, on 10 May 1830 in Leyburn, Richmond, Yorkshire, England.1,2,3 In the census of 7 June 1841 in Stutton Filpot, Marske, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the wife of Peter Whitelock Greathead.5 She died on 16 February 1845 in Marske, Richmond, Yorkshire, England.6 Her death was registered on 18 February 1845 by Sarah Thairlwall in attendance in the Richmond Register Office. The cause of her death was Apoplexy. She was buried in Marske, Yorkshire, England, with their spouse and two sons Peter and Thomas both aged two.7

He married Elizabeth Whitelock, daughter of Matthew Whitelock and Elizabeth Hutchinson, on 22 August 1839 in Downholme Parish Church, Downholme, Richmond, Yorkshire, England, The ceremony was witnessed by James Hutchinson, Ann Whitelock and Ruth Whitelock. It took place after Richard took out a licence. He described himself as a Farmer from Scot Willoughby in the County of Lincoln.3 Richard was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 June 1841 in Scott Willoughby, Lincolnshire, England, Richard was a farmer living with his wife.4 He died on 1 January 1847 in Scott Willoughby, Lincolnshire, England, aged 47.5 He was buried on 7 January 1847 in St Nicholas, Walcot by Folkingham, Lincolnshire, England.6
