     Charlie Ramsden was born about 1933.1 He married Kathleen Greathead, daughter of William Henry Greathead and Elizabeth Gibbon, in 1954 in Sunderland, Durham, England.2 Charlie died on 8 July 2009 in St Benedict's Hospice, Sunderland, Durham, England, after a long illness. Charlie and Kathleen had three children Robert, Colin and Richard. Their spiuses were Janet, Sharon and Suzanne and their children were Robert, Claire and Lee Colin, Adam, Lauren and Ryan.3 His body was cremated on 15 July 2009 in Sunderland Crematorium, Sunderland, Durham, England.3

     Percy Casseldon Greathead was born on 25 October 1884 in Salford, Lancashire, England.1,2,3 He was the son of John Greathead and Elizabeth Ann Mary Bradley. He was baptised on 11 February 1885 in Stowell Memorial Church, Salford, Lancashire, England, by C Heaton. Percy lived with his parents John and Elizabeth Ann in 48 Thurlow Street, John was a salesman.4,5,6,7 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 44 Thurlow Street, Salford, Lancashire, England, he was listed as the son of John Greathead Percy was a scholar.8 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 16 Peter Street, Salford, Lancashire, England, he was listed as the son of John Greathead The brothers John and Percy both worked as clerks in the dock office.9 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 90 St Stephen Street, Salford, Lancashire, England, he was listed as the son of John Greathead Percy was an insurance clerk.10 He married Helena Patterson, daughter of Edward Patterson, on 24 July 1912 in St Stephen, Salford, Lancashire, England, after banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by George Millington and Fanny Boam. Percy was an insurance clerk and he gave his address as 90 St Stephen Street while Helena was at 28 St Stephen Street.11,12,13,5,14 He received Probate of his will in Manchester. He was listed as a shipping clerk.15 Her mother Elizabeth died on 21 November 1936.16,15 He received Probate of her will in Manchester with his brother on 22 December 1936. He was listed as a head draper.15 His son John died on 27 April 1939 aged 25.15 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Percy was listed as living at 378 Great Cheetham Street East, Salford, Lancashire, England, with his wife Helena. Percy was a Draper and Helena a shop assistant.3 They received Administration on his effects in Manchester on 24 January 1940. Percy was a draper.15 His brother John died on 25 December 1952 aged 69.17,15 Percy received Administration with the will on her estate on 24 February 1953 in Manchester. He was a retired draper.15 Percy died on 23 February 1964 in 1 Shepherds Cottage, Beer, Nr Seaton, Devon, England, aged 79.18,15 The will of Percy was proved on 17 April 1964 in Manchester to Helena his widow. His effects were valued at £6762.15

He was baptised on 6 August 1913 in St Clement, Chorlton cum Hardy, Lancashire, England, his father was an insurance clerk and lived at 32 Cartwright Road.2 John entering Manchester Grammar School in 1925.3 He died on 27 April 1939 in Bombay, India, aged 25 John's usual address was 378 Great Cheetham Street, East Manchester.4 John did not leave a will. Administration papers were issued on 24 January 1940 in Manchester to John's parents Percy Casseldon Greathead a draper and his wife Helena Greathead. His effects were valued at £484 15s 10d.4

     Sophia Charlotte Swindon was born about 1811 in St Georges, London, England.2 She married Featherstone Greathead, son of Robert Featherstone Greathead and Elizabeth Hoskins, on 19 October 1829 in St George Hanover Square, Westminster, London, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Aaron Teakbe and M C Stanton.3,4,5,6 In the census of 6 June 1841 in Alloa, Clackmannanshire, Scotland, she was listed as the wife of Featherstone Greathead.7 In the census of 7 April 1851 at Bradbury Cottage, Isleworth, Middlesex, England, she was listed as the wife of Featherstone Greathead.8 In the census of 7 April 1861 in 219 City Road, Finsbury, London, England, she was listed as the wife of Featherstone Greathead.9 Her husband Featherstone died on 1868 in Islington, London, England, Featherstone lived in Camden Street, Islington.10 Sophia was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 2 April 1871 in 13 Canal Terrace, St Pancras, London, England, She was widow with no occupation.11 Sophia's son Charles died on 3 February 1872. He had previously been declared a "lunatic" and although he died in Northumberland House, his burial record states his abode as 1 Timberton Square, maybe this is where Sophia lived. She received probate at the Principal Register on 22 February 1872, being his only next of kin.12 Sophia died in 1873 in Hackney, London, England.13 Sophia was buried on 12 January 1873 in Islington Cemetery, Islington, London, England, her usual address was 80 Howard Road, Stoke Newington.14

In the census of 6 June 1841 in Alloa, Clackmannanshire, Scotland, she was listed as the daughter of Featherstone Greathead.3 In the census of 7 April 1851 at Bradbury Cottage, Isleworth, Middlesex, England, she was listed as the daughter of Featherstone Greathead.4 In the census of 7 April 1861 in 219 City Road, Finsbury, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of Featherstone Greathead.5 She married John A Cullen, son of Alexander Cullen, on 27 September 1875 in St Thomas, Bethnal Green, London, England, after the banns had been read. John died in 1867 in Darlington, Durham, England.2

     Frank George L Bullen was born on 30 August 1900 in Depwade, Norfolk, England.1 He married Sarah Agnes Greathead, daughter of Joseph Henry Greathead and Janet Cairns, in 1921 in All Saints, Northallerton, Yorkshire, England.2,3 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Frank was listed as living at 143 High Street, Goldthorpe, Yorkshire, England, with his wife Sarah. Frank was a colliery bricklayers labourer.4 Frank died in 1967 in Rotherham, Yorkshire, England.5

In the census of 3 April 1881 in 36 Court 2 Camden Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, she was listed as the wife of George Burns.3 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 161 Prescott Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, she was listed as the wife of George Burns George was an axed forger living with his wife, a button carder and two children, Elizabeth and Hannah who were both at school.4 In the census of 31 March 1901 she was listed as the wife of George Burns.2
