     Frederick Leslie Greathead was born on 4 June 1906 in Solihull, Warwickshire, England.2 He was the son of Arthur William Greathead and Ada Elizabeth Evetts.2 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 52 Harvey Road, Yardley, Solihull, Warwickshire, England, he was listed as the son of Arthur William Greathead.3 He married Florence Eva Makepeace on 4 April 1931 in St Edburgha, Yardley, Warwickshire, England, after the banns had been read on 8, 15 and 22 February 1931. The ceremony was witnessed by Howard Tom Greathead and James Weston. Frederick was a storekeeper.4,5 He witnessed the marriage of Howard Tom Greathead and Rose Beatrice Tranter on 11 June 1932 in St Edburgha, Yardley, Warwickshire, England.6,5 Frederick died on 4 October 1974 in 157 Parkdale Road, Sheldon, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, aged 68.7,8 Frederick did not leave a will. Administration papers were issued on 14 November 1974 in Birmingham. His effects were valued at £7,782.8

     Robert John Greathead was born on 3 July 1801 in London, England.1 He was the son of John Greathead and Catherine Green. He was baptised on 19 July 1801 in Old Church, St Pancras, London, England.2 He married Sarah Pilkington on 9 September 1830 in Old Church, St Pancras, London, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Thomas Brockly and May Greathead.3,4 Robert was listed as the head of the family on the census of 6 June 1841 in Queen Street, Rugby, Warwickshire, England, Robert was a police inspector.5 Robert was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 April 1861 in 1 James Terrace, Dalton, Barrow in Furness, Lancashire, England, Robert was a greengrocer.6 His wife Sarah died on 1870 in Ulverston, Lancashire, England.7,8 In the census of 2 April 1871 in 2 Lawson Street, Dalton, Barrow in Furness, Lancashire, England, he was listed as the lodger staying with John Taylor a master mariner and his family. He was a widower working as a timber measurer.9 Robert died on 10 September 1878 in 133 Dalton Road, Barrow in Furness, Lancashire, England, aged 77.10,11 Robert was buried on 12 September 1878 in Barrow Borough Cemetery, Barrow in Furness, Lancashire, England.12 His death was registered on 12 September 1878 by John Poole, the Coroner for the liberty of Furness Inquest which was held on 11 September 1878 in the Barrow in Furness Register Office. The cause of his death was Poisoning himself, by taking a dose of Laudanum on 9 September whilst in an unfound state of mind.
