     Edward Brown was born in 1854 in Weardale, Durham, England.1,2 He was the son of Edward Brown and Mary Wilson.1 In the census of 7 April 1861 in Belly Hall, Crook, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of Edward Brown Edward was a scholar.3 In the census of 2 April 1871 in Stanley Cottages, Crook, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of Edward Brown Edward was a pupil teacher.4 The will of Edward was proved by Edward Brown his son on 25 May 1909 in Durham by James and his brother Edward Brown who were railway clerks and Thomas Young a gentleman their brother in law, husband to their sister Isabella.5

     Donald Herbert Greathead was born on 14 April 1923 in Victoria Park, Western Australia, Australia.1,2 He was the son of George Herbert Greathead and Grace Lilian Greaves.3 The West Australian reported that on 11 September 1937 Donald whilst our swimming on South Perth foreshore with another boy found a bag floating on the waters edge. The opened it and found a baby's body inside. The police investigated and felt that the baby had been wilfully murdered, they were looking for the mother.4 Donald enlisted in Freemantle on 12 March 1941 in the Royal Australian Navy. His service number was R3422. His posting on discharge on 13 September 1964 was aboard HMAS Diamantina. His home port was Feemantle.1,5 He married Wilhelmina G Verdonk in 1948 in Perth, Western Australia, Australia.1,6 Donald died in 1982 in Alfred Cove, Western Australia, Australia.7

He was discharged on 31 May 1948 as a Warrant Officer in the Eastern Area Headquarters. His father George was listed as his next of kin.1 He married ...      William Fuller Bunn was born in 1844 in Yarmouth, Norfolk, England.1 He was the son of William Christmas Bunn and Sarah Fuller.1 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Row 123, Yarmouth, Norfolk, England, he was listed as the son of Sarah Bunn Sarah was listed as a mariner's wife, presumably her husband William was a sea.2 In the census of 7 April 1861 William was an able seaman he gave his age as 19.3 He married Eliza Parker in 1865 in Yarmouth, Norfolk, England.4 William was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 5 April 1891 in 32 Albion Road, Yarmouth, Norfolk, England, William was a mariner.5 His wife Eliza died on 1894 in Yarmouth, Norfolk, England.6 William was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in 11 Norfolk Street, Yarmouth, Norfolk, England, William was a greengrocer.7 William died on 20 July 1904 at sea while on board the ship Carmanian.8

George was listed as a printers cutter and Lillian as married. Archibald William Greaves, a clerk, was living with them. Archibald had appeared on another 1925 roll and later in 1936 as living at Mary Street, Como.5 The wedding breakfast for her sister Maylie and George Pritchard was served in Grace's home on 2 June 1928.6,2 By George and Grace appeared on 1936 Australian electoral lists as living in 37 Brandon Street, South Perth.      Eric William Greathead was born on 28 July 1931 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.2,3,4 He was the son of Ashbury Charles Greathead and Olive Mary Brougham.1 Eric was a chief test pilot and instructor for Fly Illawarra flying school and back in the 1960's and 1970's as a drogue pilot. He flew Tiger Moths, Chipmunks, Mustangs, Dragon Rapides and many other planes.5,6 He married Dorothy Chie in 1957 in Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia.7 Eric died on 4 July 1993 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, aged 61 Eric was described as late of North Haven, formerly Hunters Hill. He died from a heart attack.8,6 Eric was buried in Northern Suburbs Memorial Gardens and Crematorium, New South Wales, Australia, in Crescent Court Garden 1.4
