     James Walker was born about 1857 in Holborn, London, England.3 He was the son of James Walker.2 He married Sarah Margaret Greathead, daughter of John Greathead and Elizabeth Seaman, on 26 January 1890 in St James, Ratcliff, Middlesex, England, after banns were read. The ceremony was witnessed by Agnes Seaman and Mary Piper. Both James and Sarah gave their address as 3 Narrow Street, and James was described as a labourer.4 James was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 5 April 1891 in 7 Rivers Street Court, Bromley, London, England, James was a general labourer.5

     Margaret Wells was born about 1858.2 She was the daughter of John Wells.1 She married Frederick Abbley, son of William Abbley, on 25 August 1880 in The Centenary Chapel, Weslyan Methodist, York, Yorkshire, England, The ceremony took place after the issue of a certificate and was witnessed by Thomas Wells and Jane Walker.

Frederick was a confectioner and gave his address as Hungate, York. Margaret lived at Grosvenor Terrace, York. Both their fathers were described as deceased.3 She died on 2 July 1887 in 2 Lime Street, St Saviour, York, Yorkshire, England.4
