Eliza's husband had gone out early that year in February.3 She married William G Murray in 1933 in Marrickville, New South Wales, Australia.4

The ceremony was witnessed by Agnes Seaman and Mary Piper.      Emily Greethead was born about 1817 in Bristol, Somerset, England.1 She was the daughter of Robert Samuel Greethead and Sarah Caroline Rogers.1 In the census of 6 June 1841 in Marlbro Hill, St James, Bristol, Somerset, England, she was listed as the daughter of Robert Samuel Greethead.2 In the census of 30 March 1851 at 5 Montague Street, Bristol, Somerset, England, she was listed as the daughter of Sarah Caroline Rogers Emily was a shoe binder.3 In the census of 7 April 1861 in Horfield Road, Bristol, Somerset, England, she was listed as the lodger with Charles and Ann Packer. Charles was a shoe maker. I am assuming this is Emily although she is enumerated as Emily Ireland and Julia Ireland aged 20 is also lodging with her. I believe they are mother and daughter.4 She married James Budding in 1865 in Bedminster, Gloucestershire, England, Emily married using the surname of Ireland.5 Her husband James died on 1871 in Bristol, Somerset, England.6 In the census of 2 April 1871 in 2 Herbert Street, Bedminster, Gloucestershire, England, she was listed as the mother in law of George Derrick Emily was a waistcoat maker like her daughter.7 In the census of 3 April 1881 in 21 King William Street, Bedminster, Gloucestershire, England, she was listed as the mother in law of George Derrick Emily was a vest maker.8 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 1 Norfolk Place, Sculcoates, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the mother of Julia Derrick Emily was living on her pension.9 Emily died in 1893 in Sculcoates, Yorkshire, England.10

     Mary Greethead was born about 1824 in Bristol, Somerset, England.1 She was the daughter of Robert Samuel Greethead and Sarah Caroline Rogers.1 In the census of 6 June 1841 in Marlbro Hill, St James, Bristol, Somerset, England, she was listed as the daughter of Robert Samuel Greethead.2 In the census of 30 March 1851 at 5 Montague Street, Bristol, Somerset, England, she was listed as the daughter of Sarah Caroline Rogers Mary was a shoe binder.3 In the census of 7 April 1861 in Bristol City Union Workhouse, Stapleton, Bristol, Somerset, England, she was listed as the inmate. There were three Greatheads listed Mary aged 29, James aged 10 and Louisa aged 6. All are listed as paupers, Mary is a tailoress and James and Louisa scholars.4 In May 1862, according to a report in the Bristol Mercury, Mary Greethead was committed for 14 days hard labour for abandoning her two illegitimate children, James and Louisa, who had thereby become charges on St Peter's Hospital.5 Mary died in 1871 in Clifton, Gloucestershire, England.6

     Margaret Wells was born about 1858.1 She was the daughter of John Wells.2 She married Frederick Abbley, son of William Abbley, on 25 August 1880 in The Centenary Chapel, Weslyan Methodist, York, Yorkshire, England, The ceremony took place after the issue of a certificate and was witnessed by Thomas Wells and Jane Walker.

Frederick was a confectioner and gave his address as Hungate, York. Margaret lived at Grosvenor Terrace, York. Both their fathers were described as deceased.3 Margaret died on 2 July 1887 in 2 Lime Street, St Saviour, York, Yorkshire, England.4
