     Johnny Murgatroyd was born on 5 April 1875.2 He married Jane Garthwaite in 1900 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England.2,3 Johnny was a wholesale confectioner in 1933 when his daughter married.1 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register he was listed as living at 25 Grasmere Road, Morecombe, Lancashire, England with his son in law Percival Johnnie was an unemloyed secretary and Manager of the Co-op.2

     Margaret Jane Evans married William James Milburn, son of George Milburn and Mary Jane Hope, in 1904 in Durham, England.1 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 117 Front Street, Tudhoe Colliery, Spennymoor, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of William James Milburn William was a coal miner foreman below ground living with his second wife and children in their six roomed home.2

Charles was a shoe maker. I am assuming this is Emily although she is enumerated as Emily Ireland and Julia Ireland aged 20 is also lodging with her. I believe they are mother and daughter.4 She married George Derrick in 1866 in Bedminster, Gloucestershire, England.5 In the census of 2 April 1871 in 2 Herbert Street, Bedminster, Gloucestershire, England, she was listed as the wife of George Derrick George was an engine fitter living with his wife and children and mother in law. His wife was a waistcoat maker. Little John was 7 months old. They had a servant Mary M Barnes.6 In the census of 3 April 1881 in 21 King William Street, Bedminster, Gloucestershire, England, she was listed as the wife of George Derrick George was an engine fitter and was living with his wife a dressmaker and their children and her mother was with them. She was described as a vest maker.7 Her husband George died on 1881 in Bedminster, Gloucestershire, England.8 Julia was listed as the head of the family on the census of 5 April 1891 in 1 Norfolk Place, Sculcoates, Yorkshire, England, Julia was a waistcoat maker living with her mother and children and a lodger called John Fishwick who worked as a cellarman.9 Julia was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in 3 Durham Terrace, Sculcoates, Yorkshire, England, Julia was working as a tailoress. her son George was with her,he was working as a clerk's apprentice. She had two grandsons also staying with her.10 Julia died in 1904 in Sculcoates, Yorkshire, England.11

     Arthur Edward Derrick was born in 1872 in Bristol, Somerset, England.1,2 He was the son of George Derrick and Julia Ireland.1 In the census of 3 April 1881 in 21 King William Street, Bedminster, Gloucestershire, England, he was listed as the son of George Derrick Arthur was a scholar.3 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 1 Norfolk Place, Sculcoates, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the son of Julia Derrick Arthur was a music hall Manager.4 I suspect Arthur may have been managing the Empire Music Hall owned by his Great Uncle James Frederick Greethead otherwise known as Leotard Bosco. He is mentioned as going to James' funeral.5 He married Anne Elizabeth Casterson, daughter of Thomas Casterson and Sarah Ann Smith, in 1892 in Sculcoates, Yorkshire, England.6 Arthur was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in 6 Catherine Square, Mason Street, Sculcoates, Yorkshire, England, Arthur was a music hall artist living with his wife and son.7 Arthur was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in 13 Cannon Street, Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire, England, Arthur was a barman in a hotel living with his wife and two of his children, three others had died before 1911. His mother in law and brother in law were boarding with them in their four roomed home.8 Arthur died in 1916 in Sculcoates, Yorkshire, England.9
