It stated he was survived by his widow, children William of Brroklyn and Agnes and two grandchildren.¹

     Joseph Greathead was born on 23 April 1897 in Sunderland, Durham, England.¹ He was the son of Henry Greathead and Georgina Gertrude Sutherland.
