She was described as a native of the district and known for her homely and kindly disposition, she had many friends who will miss her. She was a considerable owner of property in Llanymynech and in Liverpool where her husband had owned a prosperous grocery business.^10,11,12 She was buried on 16 January 1911 in Hengoed churchyard, Hengoed, Shropshire, England, The funeral was of a private charactor. The Vicar, The Rev G. O. Browne, conducted the service at the house, the church, and the grave. The mourners were Mr and Mrs W Tunley, and Mr and Mrs T Tunley (sons and daughters in law), Mr and Mrs Dunville (nephew and niece), Mr and Mrs E Conde (nephew and niece) Mrs Morris (sister), Mrs Smith (niece)Mrs Carrington, Oswestry, Mr and Mrs Brownrigg, Shrewsbury, Dr Hammond Williams and Mr Wm. Jones, Mardy. The bearers were Messrs. T Brown, Jos Jones, John Davies and George Pierce.¹⁰
