The ceremony was witnessed by Sarah and John Greathead who both signed with their mark.1,3 In the census of 7 June 1841 in Water Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, she was listed as the wife of George Greathead.4 In the census of 30 March 1851 at 123 Upper Tower Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, she was listed as the wife of George Greathead.2 In the census of 7 April 1861 in Upper Tower Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, she was listed as the wife of George Greathead.5 Fanny died in 1865 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.6 Fanny was buried in November 1865 in Witton Cemetery, Moor Lane, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.7

     Thomas Grant witnessed the marriage of Alfred Henry Greathead and Elizabeth Mapp on 12 May 1856 in St Bartholomew, Edgebaston, Warwickshire, England.1,2 He married Elizabeth Jane Greathead, daughter of George Greathead and Fanny Wilkinson, on 14 June 1858 in St Bartholomew, Edgebaston, Warwickshire, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Alfred Henry Greathead and Elizabeth Bayliss. Thomas was a glass dealer.3,2
