Francis Tiddy Greathead was born about 1835 in Amlwch, Anglesey, Wales.1 He was the son of Samuel Greathead and Jane Treweek.1 He was baptised on 7 October 1835 in Amlwch, Anglesey, Wales.1,2 In the census of 6 June 1841 in Petters Street, Amlwch, Anglesey, Wales, he was listed as the son of Samuel Greathead.3 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Market Place, Amlwch, Anglesey, Wales, he was listed as the son of Samuel Greathead Francis was a bankers clerk.4 He married Mary Wythe Collins, daughter of Edwin Collins, on 30 October 1860 in Stalbridge, Dorset, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by Edwin S Collins, John Henry Greathead, Anne James and Amelia Dingley. Francis gave his occupation as a bank cashier.5,6,7 Francis was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 April 1861 in Butts Napp, Camm, Shropshire, England, Francis was a bankers clerk. He was living with his wife and niece Mary E Rawll.8 Francis a banker was admitted on 7 November 1867 into Prestwich Asylum and discharged on 3 December 1867 and declared recovered on 17 January 1868. He was a mercantile agent.14 Francis died on 13 July 1881 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, his occupation was described as a clerk living at 8 Ward, 228 S, 8th Street aged 46 years.15,16 Francis was buried on 15 July 1881 in Northwood Cemetery, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.15,16 Francis and Mary's name appears on the same stone. Arthur Henry Finn was born in 1854.1 He was the son of James Finn and Elizabeth Ann McCaul.1 The Finns made plans to return to England in 1863, eventually leaving on 14 July. They spent the next three years visiting friends and relations, finally settling in an old fashioned, delightful house at Hammersmith in what was then little more than a rural and sequestered spot. Here they enjoyed a quiet, restful life, filled up by parochial and literary work.1 He married Mary Anne Lowden, daughter of George Lowden, on 30 April 1884 in St Mary-le-Tower, Ipswich, Suffolk, England, by Rev J H Turnock. They had a daughter on 12 March 1885 called Myrtle Annie, a son Cyril who died, a son Basil Arthur born in Burmah 4 March 1888.2,3,4 His wife Mary died on 3 July 1925.2 Arthur died on 10 March 1938.2
