In the census of 6 June 1841 in Hanley Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, he was listed as the son of Peter Greathead.3 He was baptised on 25 October 1841 in St Martin, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, with his brothers John Cartwright Greathead and Edward Turley Greathead the family lived in Hanley Street and their father was a bellowsmaker.4 Joseph was buried on 14 November 1841 in Key Hill Cemetery, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, by James Alsop.5,6 Joseph died in 1841 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, he was only six months old and died from inflamation of the bowels.7,1,5

     John Greathead was born about 1778 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.2,1 He was the son of William Greathead and Sarah Irons.3 He was baptised on 12 September 1779 in Tanworth, Warwickshire, England.3 He married Elizabeth Brisband on 7 September 1802 in Aston Juxta, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.1 John was listed as the head of the family on the census of 6 June 1841 in High Street, Tanworth, Warwickshire, England, John was a maltster.4 His wife Elizabeth died on 8 May 1848 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.5,6 John died on 15 February 1850 in Warwickshire, England.7,8,9,6 John was buried on 24 February 1850 in Woodlands Cemetery, Birmingham Road, Coleshill, Warwickshire, England.10,6 His estate was probated on 15 July 1850 in Lichfield.9 John, Elizabeth and their son Thomas are all buried under the same gravestone. Daniel was a labourer.4,1 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 46 Harford Street, Upper Gornal, Dudley, Staffordshire, England, he was listed as the lodger of Sarah Sutton. Daniel was listed as married and working as a bellows maker. His wife was at home with their three children.5 Daniel was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in 46 Kent Street, Upper Gornal, Dudley, Staffordshire, England, Daniel was a grocer living with his wife and three of his children in their five roomed home.      Arthur Robert Belton was born on 23 February 1877 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.2,3,1 He was the son of Robert Belton. He married Elizabeth Eliza Greathead, daughter of George Greathead and Catherine Sermon, on 19 March 1905 in Christ Church, Sparkbrook, Warwickshire, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by John Thomas Turner and Cora Upton. Arthur was a carter, both Arthur and Elizabeth gave their address as 63 White Road.4,5,6 He married Violet Rose Waldron in 1932 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.1,7 Violet and Arthur split up around Beryl's third birthday. Arthur and Beryl went to live with his parents in Stratford Pace, Sparkbrook.1 His wife Elizabeth died on 1947 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.8 Arthur died in 1956 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.9
