     Alison Dorothy Greethead was born in 1906 in Mosman, New South Wales, Australia.2 She was the daughter of Stephen Henry Greethead and Elizabeth Grace Herne.1 Stephen and Elizabeth and their children Alison and Henry appeared on the 1930 Australian electoral rolls as living at 334 Victoria Avenue, Artarmon, N Sydney, New South Wales. Stephen was described as a painter, Elizabeth a shopkeeper, Henry a carpenter and Alison a dressmaker. There was also a listing at 23 Little Street, Lane Cove, N Sydney for all four again in 1930. All had the same occupations except Elizabeth who was described as home duties.3 She married Alfred J Wilson in 1934 in Chatswood, New South Wales, Australia.4,5 Her husband Alfred died on 13 May 1979 aged 75.6 Alison died on 27 May 1990 in Lane Cove, New South Wales, Australia.6

     James Edward Greathead was born on 20 November 1905 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.1,2,3 He was the son of Henry Percy Greathead and Eliza Hunt.1 James enlisted in Sydney on 15 May 1924. He was descibed as being fve foot five and half inches tall. His hair was dark, his eyes blue and complexion fair and he had a scar on his shoulder.2 He married Esma E Harry in 1928 in Randwick, New South Wales, Australia.4 James died on 12 July 1966 in Katoomba, New South Wales, Australia, aged 60.5

     Dorothy Mabel Greathead was born on 8 October 1906 in Paddington, New South Wales, Australia.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Joseph Edward Greathead and Ruby Adele West.1 She married George Edward Bayliss on 23 October 1926 in S Aidans Church, Annandale, New South Wales, Australia, The ceremony was winessed by N Greathead and F H Bayliss. George was a electrical fitters assistant living at 358 Riley Street in Surrey Hills age 23. His father was Edward Oscar Bayliss who worked as a driver and his mother Alice Maudie Bachelor. Dorothy was a ledger keeper living at 151 Annandale Street, Annandale. Her father Joseph Edward Greathead had been a porter but was deceased, so her mother Ruby Adele West gave her consent or the marriage as Dorothy was only age 20.4,5,6 In 1930 George and Dorothy were living at 52 Nelson Street in Annandale, George was working as a fitters assistant.7 George , Dorothy and their son Kenneth were isted as living at 66 Angleses Street in Bondi in 1949. George was a fitters assistat and Kenneth an apprentice fitter and turner.7 In 1958 George and Dorothy were living at 66 Angleses Street Phillip Bondi, George was a fittters assistant.7 In 1963 George and Dorothy are listed as living at 21 Bream Road in Ettalong. George is described as a cleaner.7 George and Dorothy are listed as living a 2 Camellia Circle Woy Woy Robertson in new South Wales in 1972.7 Her husband George died on 16 February 1988 in New South Wales, Australia.8 Dorothy died on 7 September 1989 in New South Wales, Australia, aged 82.8,3 Dorothy was buried in Palmdale Lawn Cemetery, Palm Dale, New South Wales, Australia.8

     George Fitzsimons Greathead was born on 27 August 1906 in Maternity Hospital, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland, at 6:20 am. No father is mentioned on the birth register, the birth is described as illigitmate. Annie lived at 150 Rotten Row, Glasgow.2,3 He was the son of Annie Greathead.1
