He died on 14 June 2004 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, aged 61.1,2 Thomas' obituary appeared in The Philadelphia Inquirer, The (PA) and Philadelphia Daily News (PA) of 16 June 2004. It read: GREATHEAD
THOMAS D. June 14, 2004, beloved husband of Loretta (nee Jankauskas), loving father of Laura J. Greathead, Kathleen (Lawrence) Gallagher and Janine Greathead also survived by one granddaughter Krystal Greathead, dear brother of Barbara Ashton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing Fri. 9:30 A.M. from THE EDWARD J. PETNER FUNERAL HOME (Family Owned and Operated), 6421 Frankford Ave. at Levick St. Christian Burial Service 11 A.M. Interment private.
