He married Ruby E Robinson in 1896 in San Francisco, California, USA.1,4 Norman was listed on 5 August 1898 as being a resident of San Mateo. He married ... ...1 His wife ... died on before 1841.1 John was listed as the head of the family on the census of 6 June 1841 in 133 Piccadilly, Hanover Square, London, England, John is described as Independent.2 John was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at 133 Piccadilly, Hanover Square, London, England, John is described as a land owner. His mother described as a fund owner is staying with him.3 John's mother died on 10 August 1859 at Streatham. He received probate on her effects in 134 Piccadilly, London, England.4 John was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in Tasso Road, Fulham, London, England, John was a builder and had a servant living with him called Anna Webster she was aged 36 and from Bath.5 He died on 9 July 1880 in Fulham Fields, Fulham, London, England, John was unmarried.4,6 John was buried on 13 July 1880 in Brompton Cemetery, The Royal Parks, Chapel Office, Brompton Cemetery, Fulham Road, Brompton, London, England, his usual address was 10 Star Road, Fulham. There is conficting thoughts as to whether she was born on 3rd or 30th January.1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of Samuel Greatheed and Mary Wilson. She was baptised on 22 February 1794 in Landford, Wiltshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of Samuel and Mary.3,5 She married Barnard Trollope on 27 July 1818 in Landford, Wiltshire, England, The bondsmen were Thomas Lush a gentleman, from Salisbury Close, Wiltshire and Mary Trollope a widow (although Ancestry states spinster) from Southampton, Hampshire. Bernard was minor and a cornet in 2nd Regiment of Dragoons Seven witnesses named, John Osborne, Sophie Greateed, Mary Trollope, James Elizabeth Eyre, John J Shitter, Marian Brothers and Caroline eyre.2,6,1,7 Mary died in 1861 in St Martin in the Fields, London, England.8,9 Mary was buried in St Andrew, Landford, Wiltshire, England.10

     Barnard Trollope was baptised on 25 October 1798 in St Mary and St Nicholas, Beverley, Yorkshire, England, his parents were Arthur William and Mary Trollope.1,2,3 He married Mary Greatheed, daughter of Samuel Greatheed and Mary Wilson, on 27 July 1818 in Landford, Wiltshire, England, The bondsmen were Thomas Lush a gentleman, from Salisbury Close, Wiltshire and Mary Trollope a widow (although Ancestry states spinster) from Southampton, Hampshire. Bernard was minor and a cornet in 2nd Regiment of Dragoons Seven witnesses named, John Osborne, Sophie Greateed, Mary Trollope, James Elizabeth Eyre, John J Shitter, Marian Brothers and Caroline eyre.4,5,1,6 His wife Mary died on 1861 in St Martin in the Fields, London, England.2,7 In the census of 7 April 1861 in 1 Bonverie Villa, West Cliff, Folkestone, Kent, England, he was listed as the visitor of an unknown person Barnard was described as an 'Esquire' visiting Charles and Anne Harwood. He was listed as a widower.8 On 30 October 1861 his name was legally changed to Barnard Foord-Bowes by Royal Licence. She was baptised on 23 September 1806 in Landford, Wiltshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of Samuel and Sophia.4,5 She married Richard Burgess, son of Paul Burgess, on 11 July 1837 in Brentford, Middlesex, England, after a licence was issued on      3 July 1837. Richard was the Rector of Upper Chelsea.
