     The will of Florence was proved by Ella Louisa Stevenson. Her effects were valued at £907 15s 6d and the will was resworn at £116 7s 2d.1 She was born in 1859 in Cardiff, Glamorganshire, Wales.1,2 She was the daughter of Samuel Sillifant and Catherine de Boudry Scott.1 In 1871 in the census Florence was living with her Uncle Edwin and Aunt Jane. In 18881 she was a governess for Thomas and Mary Wilson and their family of Heathfield House, Penarth, Glamorgan. By 1901 census she had moved to Hove in East Sussex and was a hotel proprietor.1 Florence died on 10 March 1938 in 182 Ladbroke Grove, Kensington, London, England.1,3

He and Emily had three known children. Sadly one was born stillborn on 2 August 1897.1

     Thomas Henry Craig Stevenson was born about 1871 in Tyrone, Strabane County, Ireland.2 He married Ella Louisa Sillifant, daughter of Samuel Sillifant and Catherine de Boudry Scott, in 1900 in Weston Super Mare, Somerset, England, Thomas and Ella had two children Thomas and Kathleen.1,3 Thomas was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in 32 North Parade, Halifax, Yorkshire, England, Thomas was a medical practitioner living with his wife, her sister and her son, his nephew.4 Thomas was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in Tredinock, Woodside Park Road, Finchley, London, England, Thomas was the Supervisor of Statistics at the General Register Office. He was living with is wife Ella , their son Thomas, his sister in law Florence Lilian Stevenson, a domestic agent governess and two servants in their thirteen roomed home.Thomas and Ella had three children from their 10 year marriage, only one was alive in 1911.5

     Charlotte Greathead was baptised on 6 May 1816 in Yarm, Yorkshire, England, Charlotte was the 2nd daughter and her father was an Inn Keeper.1,2 She was the daughter of William Greathead and Charlotte Ridley.1 In the census of 7 June 1841 she was listed as a Governess and living in Nutts Shell, Wenlock, Madeley, Shropshire, England, with Matthew, an attorney and his wife Ann Court.3 She married Samuel Sillifant, son of Timothy Sillifant and Margaret ..., on 29 April 1844 in Parish Church, Madeley, Shropshire, England, by licence. The ceremony was witnessed by Mary Greathead and Horatio Sillifant. Charlotte gave her address as Ironbridge and Samuel as Brecon. He worked as a draper and Charlotte was described as 2nd daughter of William, a merchant from Whitby.4,5,6 In the census of 30 March 1851 at 21 Linton Street, Islington, London, England, she was listed as the wife of Samuel Sillifant Interestingly Samuel is listed as James on the census return. He was working as a Manchester warehouseman living with his wife, daughter, sister in law Mary Greathead, brother in law John Kershaw who was married and working as a drapers assistant and a servant called Catherine Proud. Both Catherine and her sister were listed as goveresses.7 Charlotte died in 1851 in Guildford, Surrey, England.8 Charlotte was buried on 16 December 1851 in Abney Park Cemetery, Stoke Newington, London, England, Her burial was listed as No 7277 Section 06 Index IS05. She was buried in the same plot as her daughter who had died six months earlier.9

     Richard Burgess was born about 1797 in Sowerbury, Yorkshire, England.1 He was the son of Paul Burgess.2 He married Sophia Greatheed, daughter of Samuel Greatheed and Sophia White, on 11 July 1837 in Brentford, Middlesex, England, after a licence was issued on      3 July 1837. Richard was the Rector of Upper Chelsea. The marriage was witnessed by Cadogan and Sophia Greatheed and Bernard Trollope.3,4,5 Richard was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at 10 Cadagon Place, Chelsea, London, England, Richard was the Rector of Upper Chelsea living wth his wife and children, all scholars at home. The household also consisted of a governess, nurse, cook, housemaid and nursery maid.6 Richard was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 April 1861 in 69 Cadagon Place, Chelsea, London, England, Richard was still Rector of Upper Chelsea living with his wife and four daughters, a bootboy, ladies maid, cook and housemaid.7 Richard was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in The Rectory, Ickworth, Suffolk, England, Richard was now the Rector of Ickworth living with his wife and two of their children. The household included a cook, ladies maid, house maid and footman.8 His wife Sophia died on 1878 in Steyning, Sussex, England.1,9 Richard was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in 29 St Michael's Place, Brighton, Sussex, England, Richard was a clerk in holy orders living with his two daughters and a cook, housemaid and nurse.10 Richard died in 1881 in Brighton, Sussex, England.11
