Unable to have children so adopted Susan.1 He died on 23 March 1997 in Stoneleigh Nursing Home, Annfield Plain, Stanley, Durham, England, aged 55.3,4 Administration papers were issued with a will on 17 July 2006 in Leeds to The Thompson Partnership, 11 Ford Park Road, Nutley, Plymouth and granted to June Newton.4
