He married Mary Eliza Graham, daughter of John Arthur(s) and Mary Lavinia Graham, in 1890 in Auckland, Durham, England, Mary married under the surname of Graham, having been raised by an uncle, John Graham but her maiden name is given as Arthur on her children’s birth certificates.⁴ Arthur was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in 5 Garden Street, Newfield, Willington, Durham, England, Arthur was living with his wife and eight surviving children in their four roomed home. Arthur was a stone man in the coal mine.⁵ He died in 1923 in Easington, Durham, England.^3,6

Richard was already working in the area.² She died in 1952 in Lambeth, London, England.^2,8

     Margaret Jane Huitson was born on 27 July 1890 in Auckland, Durham, England.^2,3 She was the daughter of Arthur Palmerly Huitson and Mary Eliza Arthur(s). In the census of 2 April 1911 in 5 Garden Street, Newfield, Willington, Durham, England, she was listed as the daughter of Arthur Palmerly Huitson.⁴ She married John Henry Booth in 1913 in Easington, Durham, England.^2,5

     Lena Huitson was born on 18 August 1891 in Auckland, Durham, England.^2,3 She was the daughter of Arthur Palmerly Huitson and Mary Eliza Arthur(s). In the census of 2 April 1911 in 5 Garden Street, Newfield, Willington, Durham, England, she was listed as the daughter of Arthur Palmerly Huitson.⁴ She lived with James Ramsden.²

     John William Henry Huitson was born on 26 April 1893 in Auckland, Durham, England.^2,3 He was the son of Arthur Palmerly Huitson and Mary Eliza Arthur(s). In the census of 2 April 1911 in 5 Garden Street, Newfield, Willington, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of Arthur Palmerly Huitson John was a screen man on the colliery surface.⁴ He married Mary Emily Ryan in 1923 in Easington, Durham, England, John and Mary had three children.^2,5

     Richard Watson Huitson was born on 3 May 1896 in Auckland, Durham, England.² He was the son of Arthur Palmerly Huitson and Mary Eliza Arthur(s). In the census of 2 April 1911 in 5 Garden Street, Newfield, Willington, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of Arthur Palmerly Huitson Richard was a screen man.³ Kate and her Mum moved down South to Lambeth in 1927. Richard was already working in the area.⁴ He died in 1981.¹

     Margaret Edith Huitson was born on 19 October 1874 in Langton, Teesdale, Durham, England.^1,2 She was the daughter of William Huitson and Margaret Greathead. She died on 1 February 1940 in East Harlsey, Durham, England, aged 65 Margaret did not marry.²

He married J Mowthorpe, daughter of H Mowthorpe, on 16 September 1916 in Londesboro, Durham, England, Richard was a woodman.² He died about January 1951 in Londesboro, Durham, England.²

     Charles Edward Huitson was born on 22 June 1882 in Aldwark, Yorkshire, England.^1,2 He was the son of William Huitson and Margaret Greathead. He was the Head Gardener for the Dorman family at Harsley Hall, East Harsley. He married Lizzie Fawell, daughter of Nathan Fawell, on 6 August 1910 in Bolton on Swale, Yorkshire, England.^1,2 He died on 27 June 1966 in Bolton on Swale, Yorkshire, England, aged 84.^1,2

     Lizzie Fawell was the daughter of Nathan Fawell.² She married Charles Edward Huitson, son of William Huitson and Margaret Greathead, on 6 August 1910 in Bolton on Swale, Yorkshire, England.^1,2

     George Edward Greathead was born on 21 July 1901 in 9 South Terrace, Tudhoe Grange, Spennymoor, Sedgefield, Durham, England.^1,2 He was the son of George William Greathead and Thirza Maria Littley. In the census of 2 April 1911 in 125 Craddock Street, Spennymoor, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of George William Greathead.³ He married Sarah Edith J Hamer in 1923 in Durham, England.⁴ He died on 4 September 1978 in 88 Green Lane, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England, aged 77.^5,6 Administration papers were issued with a will on 25 June 1993 in Oxford. I do not know why this took five years. His effects were valued at £7,500.⁶

     David Huitson was born in 1948.¹ He was the son of Ronald Huitson and Molly ... He married Margaret ... He died on 7 March 2001 in Brunswick Village, Newcastle upon Tyne, Durham, England,
It appears that David gave evidence some time ago against a criminal who was consequently imprisoned.

The Journal dated 7 March 2001 stated "A man who was repeatedly stabbed yards from his home while walking his dog has died in hospital. David Huitson, 53, was found in a critical condition after he was stabbed while walking on grass next to Westfield Avenue, Brunswick, Newcastle, at around 6.25.p.m. on Sunday. He was taken to Newcastle General Hospital but died yesterday afternoon.............²
