She was a very talented pianist and organist, attended the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago when she graduated from High school. She played for weddings, funerals, was the organist at the Christian Science Church in Harvey, Illinois for 40 years. She was very involved in theatre groups as the rehersal pianist and in the orchestra.²
