     John Norton Lewis was born on 9 October 1884 in Dover, Kent, England.2 He married Daisy Gertrude Stroud, daughter of Stephen Friday Stroud and Eliza Ann Honeybourne, in 1908 in Dover, Kent, England.1,2 He died on 13 October 1915 in Loos, France, aged 31 Lance Corporal J N Lewis was killed in action. He was in the 6th Battalion of the Buffs.2
