He was recorded as a shipping clerk by his brother Norman who registered his death. Norman gave his address as 7 Bede Grove, West Hartlepool.^5,1 Hannah lived alone in 14 Derby Street from 1934 to 1946 when her brother John moved in. They stayed there until her death.¹ She died on 15 March 1953 in Brierton Hospital, Stranton, Durham, England, Her obituary stated she was the beloved wife of the late Harry Stewart.¹ She was buried on 17 March 1953 in Stranton Church, Stranton, Durham, England, The Cortege left 14 Derby Street at 1:50pm for the church.¹
