     George Usher was born on 12 May 1893 in 95 Northumberland Street, Hartlepool, Durham, England, Hartlepool Register Office HA-129-0117.1 He was the son of George Usher and Hannah Warner. He was in the army in 1911, he trained in Strensall camp and posted to Inniskillin Fusilliers. he left the army in 1918. In the census of 2 April 1911 in 64 Cliffe Road, Bradford, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the son of Hannah Usher George was a labourer on the railway and an army reservist.2 He married Emily Watson.3 He died on 31 March 1965 in England aged 71.1,3
