     Dorothy Smith was born on 18 August 1947 in Barnsley, Yorkshire, England.1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Smith and Doris Crane. She married Malcolm Haigh in 1966 in Barnsley, Yorkshire, England.3 She married Geoffrey Greathead, son of Norman Greathead and Elsie Crane, in 1994 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England, she was the third wife of Geoffrey.4,1 Her husband Geoffrey died on 9 December 2010 in Bradford, Yorkshire, England, aged 61.5,6,7 Dorothy died on 3 September 2011 aged 64.6 The will of Dorothy was proved on 3 November 2011 in Leeds.6

     Thomason Barker was born on 22 July 1893 in Byers Green, Auckland, Durham, England.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Edward Barker and Elizabeth Ann Greathead. In the census of 31 March 1901 in 7 Brockwell Street, Byers Green, Auckland, Durham, England, she was listed as the daughter of Edward Barker.4 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 21 Osborne Terrace, Leeholme, Bishop Auckland, Durham, England, she was listed as a visitor with the Robert Angle and his family, she was listed as a dressmaker living in their four roomed home.5 She married Harry Musgrave, son of Thomas Musgrave and Catherine Markey, in 1913 in Newcastle upon Tyne, Durham, England.6 Harry and the family moved down to Birmingham with their chidlren as his wife Thomason was determined her sons would not work in the pits. They all stayed there except Elizabeth who was known as Nancy who married, lived in Weston before emigrating to Australia.7 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Thomason was listed as living at 321 Charles Road, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England with her husband Harry. Harry was a fitters labourer living with his wife and children.8 Her husband Harry died on 13 September 1954 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, aged 63.1,9 She died on 23 February 1965 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, aged 71 she was poisoned by a gas leak together with her son Harold.1,10 Thomason was buried in Yardley Cemetery, Yardley Road, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, with her husband and son Harold. Later in 2007 the ashes of her son Harry were scattered over the grave.7

     Harry Musgrave was born on 31 March 1891 in 96 Warrington Road, Abram, Lancashire, England.1,2,3,4 He was the son of Thomas Musgrave and Catherine Markey.5 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 96 Warrington Road, Abram, Lancashire, England, he was listed as the son of Thomas Musgrave.6 In the census of 31 March 1901 in North Street, Byers Green, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of Thomas Musgrave.7 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 7 Busty Terrace, Byers Green, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of Thomas Musgrave Harry was a coal mine hewer.8 He married Thomason Barker, daughter of Edward Barker and Elizabeth Ann Greathead, in 1913 in Newcastle upon Tyne, Durham, England.9 Harry and the family moved down to Birmingham with their chidlren as his wife Thomason was determined her sons would not work in the pits.
