She was baptised on 21 April 1850 in St Andrews, Holborn, London, England, her father was listed as a furrier living in Upper Gloucester Street.1 In the census of 30 March 1851 at 82 St John Street, St James, Clerkenwell, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of James Thomas Shayler Anne was a scholar.2 In the census of 7 April 1861 in 82 St John Street, St James, Clerkenwell, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of James Thomas Shayler Annie was a scholar.3 She married Caleb Edward Hollis on 11 December 1866 in St Pancras, Pancras, London, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremoy was witnessed by ? O'Reilly and M Buckeridge. Caleb was listed as a Commercial clerk living at Gordon Square. His father Thomas Hollis was dead.      Caleb Edward Hollis was born in 1847 in Isle of Wight, England.1,2,3 In the census of 30 March 1851 at 1 Arctic Cottage, Lower Newport Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight, England, Caleb was a scholar living with his mother Mary aged 45 a Master Mariners widow, his brothers James aged 21 a cabinet maker journeyman and William aged 10 also a scholar.4 In the census of 7 April 1861 in 27 Valengers Road, South Lynn, Norfolk, England, Caleb was a timber merchants clerk living with his brother Thomas and his wife Emily and their three sons, Henry, William and Hedley.5 He married Annie Shayler, daughter of James Thomas Shayler and Ann Anderson, on 11 December 1866 in St Pancras, Pancras, London, England, after the banns had been read.      Catherine Bowes was born about 1807.1 She married John Kelso, son of Adam Kelso and Margaret Reid, on 21 January 1826 in Abbey, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland.1 John and Catherine arrived in New South Wales on the "Trinidad" on 6 November 1841 along with their family including their son John.1 Catherine died in 1886 in Redfern, New South Wales, Australia.1
