Charles was it is believed an aide to the Viceroy of India. Their son Stanley was raised for much of his childhood in India, and at one stage was unable to speak english, only urdu. A direct consequence of being bought up by nannys with very little parental input. Stanley was packed off to boarding school in England.There as an only child and having little support from his parents he was forced to make his own roads in life which he did, some it is believed to be quite hair raising and some pretty mundane.⁵ He died on 18 March 1945 in Connaught Hospital, Walthamstow, Essex, England, aged 46 His usual address was 24 The Meadway, Buckhust Hill, Essex.^6,7 The will of Charles was proved on 28 June 1945 to his widow Caroline in Llandudno.
