     Frederick Leopold Turmaine was born on 11 September 1887 in Poplar, London, England.1,2,3 He was the son of William Turmaine and Eliza Mary Ann Perkins.1 He was baptised on 23 October 1887 in St Matthew, Newington, London, England, the family lived in Meadow Row and his father was a machinist.4 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 65 Fairfield Road, Bow, London, England, he was listed as the son of William Turmaine.1,5 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 65 Fairfield Road, Bow, London, England, he was listed as the son of William Turmaine.1,6 In the census of 2 April 1911 in Poplar, London, England, he was listed as the son of Eliza Mary Ann Turmaine.7 He married Margaret Fitzpatrick on 19 December 1915 in St Leonard St Mary, Bromley, London, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by M Fitzpatrick and G E Smith. Frederick was an engineer.1,8 Frederick was listed as head of household in the census of 19 June 1921 in 79 St John's Road, Wembley, Middlesex, England, Frederick was an engineer foreman working for Aster Engineering Company in Wembley living with his wife and son.9 Frederick died on 24 May 1973 in Brent, Middlesex, England, aged 85.10,11 Frederick was buried in Alperton Cemetery, Wembley, Middlesex, England, in plot KK, 1309.11

Walter worked as a packer and the family lived in 1 Eliza Cottages, Old Ford.3 He married Florence Edith Turmaine, daughter of William Turmaine and Eliza Mary Ann Perkins, on 7 February 1897 in St Stephen, Tredegar Road, Poplar, London, England, after the banns were read. The ceremony was witnessed by Charles Walker Perkins and Annie Maud Perkins. Albert was a clerk his father Walter Thomas Scott was deceased but had been a warehouseman.
