The ceremony was witnessed by M Fitzpatrick and G E Smith. Frederick was an engineer.1,8 Frederick died in 1973 in Brent, Middlesex, England.9

     Susan Turmaine was born in 1844 in Lambeth, London, England.1,2 She was the daughter of George Turmaine and Mary Ann Churchill.1 In the census of 30 March 1851 at 82 North Side, Lambeth, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of George Turmaine.3 In the census of 7 April 1861 in 6 Caroline Place, Lambeth, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of George Turmaine Susan was an out of work housemaid.4 She married Edward Charles Foster on 16 September 1867 in St Mary, Lambeth, London, England, Susan and Edward married the same day as her brother George and Emma.1,5
