     Henry Turmaine was born in 1899 in Perth, Western Australia, Australia.1 He was the son of William Francis Turmaine and Jessie Sullivan.1 He died on 23 August 1918 in France He was serving as a Private in the Military in 12th Bn Australian infantry A.I.F. and was awarded the Victory Medal and his medal card spells his surname as Turmine. His regiment number was 7811.1,2 He was buried in 1918 in Heath Cemetery, Grave IV H 11, Harbonniers, Somme, France.3
