Linda May Barrett

     Linda May Barrett was born about 1882. She married Albert Victor Scott on 19 February 1905 in St Stephen, Tredegar Road, Bow, London, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremonty was witnessed by Edwatrds Williams and Edith Barrett. Albert was a widower and worked as a commercial travleler. His father Walter Thomas Scott was deceased and had been a warehouseman. Linda was a spinster, her father Henry Joseph Barrett was also deceased and had worked as a salesman.1 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 56 Cardigan Road, Bow, London, England, she was listed as the wife of Albert Victor Scott.2 Linda died on 12 July 1958 in 3. Sherwood Avenue, Greenford, London, England.3,4 Her estate was probated on 20 August 1958 Administration papers were issued in London to Frederick George Scott a fitter assembler. Her effects were valued at £224 6s 8d.4

     Frances ... married Noah Turmine, son of Noah Turmine and Susanne Briault, There are no known children from the marriage.2 Her husband Noah died on 19 July 1834 in Dover, Kent, England, aged 69 His death was recorded in the Dover Telegraph dated 2 August 1834 page 8 Column 4. It states: "He was the eldest son of the late Noah Turmine , woolstapler of Canterbury and Petham."2,1 She died in 1837 in Dover, Kent, England, She died suddenly and the inquest gave a verdict of death from apoplexy. The deathwas reported in the Dover Telegraph on 2 December 1837 Page 8 Column 4.3,4 Frances was buried on 5 December 1837 in St Mary the Virgin, Dover, Kent, England.2
