Erna Banthorp née Spuffard
     Erna Spuffard was born on 31 March 1929 in West Ham, London, England.1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Harold Spuffard.1 She married Michael Brian Banthorp, son of Edward George Banthorp and Marjorie Wall, on 19 July 1958 in St Pauls church, East Ham, London, England.1,3 She died on 14 June 1982 in Wallingford Community Hospital, Wallingford, Oxfordshire, England, aged 53.1

     Arthur Greathead was born in 1904 in Auckland, Durham, England.2,3 He was the son of James Greathead and Jane Ann Dowson. He did not marry and lived in Chilton.1 He died on 21 December 1964 in Friargate Hospital, Northallerton he previously lived in Tang Hall Farm, Thirlby, Yorkshire, England.4,5 He did not leave a will. Administration papers were issued on 22 March 1965 to Edith Hayward his sister who was the widow of George Hayward. His effects were valued at £397.5

She married George Hayward in 1924 in Sedgefield, Durham, England.3 George and Edith had a farm outside Thirsk.1 Her husband George died on before 1965.4 Edith's brother Arthur died in 1965. She received administration on 22 March 1965. She was listed as a widow.4
