Emily Rose Penny née Mitchell late Turmaine
     Emily Rose Mitchell was born on 13 July 1897 in Bramley, Surrey, England.1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Mitchell and Emily Raggett. In the census of 31 March 1901 in Witley, Surrey, England, she was listed as the daughter of Emily Mitchell.3 She married Cecil Lawrence Turmaine, son of George Robert Evans Turmaine and Elizabeth Ann Tozer Higham, in 1917 in St Pancras, London, England, Cecil was Emily's first husband.4,5,6 Her husband Cecil died on 1927 in Guildford, Surrey, England.7,8 She married Ernest James Penny, son of J Penny, in 1943 in Surrey, England, Ernest was Emily's second husband.4,9 She died aged 85 years.10
