She married John Straw in 1939 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England.3 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Edna was listed as living at 68 Fulwood Crescent, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England with her husband John. John was a builders labourer living with his wife a hosiery worker.4 Her husband John died on April 1999 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England, aged 87.2,5 Edna suffered from dementia in later life and lived in a Nursing home near her daughter Jacqueline.2 Edna died on 5 November 2010 in Hazelgrove Nursing home, Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, England, aged 94 very peacefully with her daughter and grandaughter with her.2,6 Edna was buried on 16 November 2010 in Bramcote Crematorium, Coventry Lane, Bramcote, Beeston, Nottinghamshire, England.6

She was baptised on 29 May 1892 in St Mary (Priory), Worksop, Nottinghamshire, England, the family were living in Abbey Street, her father was a butcher.3 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 70 Abbey Street, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of William Greathead.4 In the census of 2 April 1911 in Royal Oak Hotel, Edwinstowe, Newark, Nottinghamshire, England, she was listed as a servant and barmaid. She was living with Matthew the licensed victualler of the Royal Oak and his wife Emma in their fifteen roomed home. There were two other servants, two boarders and one visitor in the household.5 She married George William King in 1912 in Ecclesall Bierlow, Yorkshire, England.6 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Ethel was listed as living at 6 Portland Place, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, England with her husband George. She married John Tunley, son of Mary Tunley, on 6 April 1874 in Wrexham, Denbighshire, Wales, Witnessed by William Williams and Mary Breese. Elizabeth was sister to Ann (Jon's 2nd wife) John and both wives Welsh speaking. John was a labourer.1,4 In the census of 3 April 1881 in Lodge, Brymbo, Denbighshire, Wales, she was listed as the wife of John Tunley.5 Elizabeth died on 3 January 1889 in Wrexham, Denbighshire, Wales.1,6 Elizabeth was buried in Brymbo Churchyard, Brymbo, Denbighshire, Wales, Buried in same grave as husband John.1
