     William Ferris was born in Northern Ireland.2,3 He married Sarah Jane Cosgrave, daughter of Hugh Cosgrave and Helen McCullough, on 23 June 1877 in St Patrick's Catholic Church, Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland.4,5 He died in 1890 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, William was listed as a deceased plumber on his son William's marriage certificate when he wed Sarah Ballard in 1908 and as dying when his son William was aged 3, when said son signed his natralisation papers in 1958.4,3

     Annie Eileen Ferris was born in 1920.2 She was the daughter of William Ferris and Sarah Ballard.1 She married Cyril Turnbull.1 She died in 2003 followed by a funeral service at the Donald V Brown Funeral Home on Saturday 12 April 2003 at 12 noon. Cremation took place at Bayview Crematorium in Burlington.2
