     Thomas Young married Isabella Brown, daughter of Edward Brown and Mary Wilson, in 1874 in Auckland, Durham, England.1 His wife Isabella died on 1899 in Durham, England.2 The will of Edward Brown was proved by Thomas Young his son in law on 25 May 1909 in Durham by James and his brother Edward Brown who were railway clerks and Thomas Young a gentleman their brother in law, husband to their sister Isabella.3

In the census of 3 April 1881 in Stanley Engine Houses, Crook, Durham, England, he was listed as the grandson of Edward Brown His Mother was visiting Mary A Bell in Wolvingham.2 He died in 1882 in Auckland, Durham, England.3
