     Rosa Jane Turmaine was born in 1896 in Thanet, Kent, England.1,2 She was the daughter of Alfred George Turmaine and Rosa Jane Bussey.1 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 66 Percy Road, Ramsgate, Kent, England, she was listed as the daughter of Alfred George Turmaine.3 She died on 16 November 1918 in Thanet, Kent, England, Rosa was an RAF salvage worker and died from influenza.1 She was buried in 1918 in Women's Royal Air Force.
