     George Fletcher was born about 1847 in Pontefract, Lancashire, England.1 He was the son of George Fletcher.1 He married Emma Leagas, daughter of John Leagas, on 22 July 1875 in Stepney, London, England, George was a coal?1 George was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 5 April 1891 in 33 May Street, Fulham, London, England, George was a coal porter.1,2 He died on 15 February 1892 in Fulham, London, England, George died from Acute congestionof the liver and Bronchitis. His last child Gertrude was born seven months after his death.1
