     Bertie Wright was the son of L Wright and Helen Greathead. Bertie was educated at University in England and he owned an old Douglas belt driven motorbike and that he leant to his cousin Ken. He was in the RAF during WWII.2

     Ann Greathead was born in 1833 in Bridge Hewick, Yorkshire, England.1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Greathead and Elizabeth Johnson. She was baptized on 10 March 1833 in Danby Wiske, Yorkshire, England.1 In the census of 7 June 1841 in Sturklam, Danby Wiske, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of Thomas Greathead.3 In the census of 30 March 1851 she was listed as the house servant to Christopher Allison a farmer and later a cow keeper.1,4 She married John Horner in 1859.5 In the census of 31 March 1901 in West Tanfield, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the mother of William Horner.6
