In the census of 30 March 1851 at Llanyblodwel, Shropshire, England, he was listed as the son of William Tunley.4 In the census of 7 April 1861 in Blodwel, Shropshire, England, he was listed as the son of William Tunley John was an agricutural labourer.5 He married Margaret Baker, daughter of John Baker and Alice ..., on 25 December 1866 in St John's, Liverpool, Lancashire, England, by banns, the ceremony was witnessed by Willam Tunley and Ellen Tunley and performed by Rev G Hewitt. Sarah Wilberforce was the daughter of Robert Wilberforce and Elizabeth Bird. Sarah married twice. Her first husband was called Clarke, the second James Stephen.1 William is mentioned in the will of Sarah Greathed who stated that William Willberforce was the brother of Sarah the wife of her brother Edward.2

Josephine Lee was born on 4 September 1936.1 She married Anthony David Greathead, son of Gwendoline Iris Greathead, in 1956 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.2 On 21 June 1960 Josephine took her two children Richard and Carol aboard SS Oxfordshire at Southampton and sailed to Singapore, Hong Kong. Their address in UK was given on the ships manifest as 32 Crauford Green, Shorncliffe. Many other families also sailed with the ship taking service families to the husbands. Shorncliffe was a military camp.1 Josephine died on 24 June 2012 aged 75.3
